The Foundational Sport of CSA

Fall Two-person handicap trap league begins Sept. 12th.

Teams consist of 2 shooters who will shoot together each week.
This is 2 rounds of trap each week, with everyone shooting from the 16 yard line first and then depending on the combined team score, shoot from the corresponding yardage.
Signup starts at 5:45, shooting begins by 6:00pm. We would like to have all 1st rounds in by 7:00 so we can match up handicaps.
Teams will be paired up for the handicap round based on how all the yardages match up.
We can accommodate open shooters one at a time during league. We will have open trap after league finishes each night.
I will be looking for scorers to help get all the teams through efficiently. I may have to assign scoring to waiting shooters.
Team registration is $20, due on the first week. This covers the cost of the awards and dinner. Trap will be $7 per round per shooter.
We will continue with the envelope system, so first week will be $48 in each team envelope, then $28 each week after.
The club is only open for trap league on Thursday evenings.
6-week league. Party is Oct 31st.
There are shells for sale in the clubhouse for approx. $11 a box.

Notes on the Fall League 2024:

The 2024 fall league will be set for Sept 12th.
It will be 2-person teams, 50-bird shoots with handicap.
We have 3 trap houses up and running with voice activation.
Watch for white birds for a chance at free drinks all league!

Notes from Trap Director, Jeff Kahn:

We are working hard to grow trap here at CSA, and are willing to accommodate larger teams and more shooters as the need arises.

We are very easy-going and welcome new and seasoned shooters alike. Watch the events calendar for weather or holiday induced closures.

During off-hour times, Members need to bring their own throwers and birds.

We run spring and fall leagues and shoot 6-9 PM every Thursday evening all year. League nights we start at 6pm, and will be shooting open trap by 7:30.
